Toronto-based Top Hat, a teaching and learning platform for higher education, has acquired Morton Publishing Company, an independent press headquartered in Englewood, Colorado that specialises in scientific educational content.
The acquisition includes more than 600 lab and course materials that are being converted into customisable digital courseware on Top Hat’s platform which will have interactive elements such as videos, simulations and interactive homework questions. Morton Publishing Company content is used at more than 1,500 US institutions.
