The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has approached banks about a potential disposal of its majority stake in the UK’s biggest nursery chain, Busy Bees, in a sale that could value it at up to £3.5 billion, The Times has reported

The Canadian institutional investor, which also owns UK national lottery operator Camelot, acquired a majority stake in Busy Bees in 2013 from Portland, Oregon-headquartered education and training company Knowledge Universe for £220 million.
