Indonesia: Ruangguru acquires two education start-ups

Ed tech firm Ruangguru has acquired two education start-ups, Schoters and Kalananti, adding international learning and coding to its portfolio, e27 has reported, citing local media Daily Social.

Ruangguru is a large tech-enabled education provider, catering to more than 20 million students and half a million teachers in Indonesia

Ruangguru mainly prepares students for local university education, whereas Schoters helps them prepare for undergraduate and postgraduate studies overseas. Kalananti teaches coding to children aged from five to 17.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
