Lincolnshire, Illinois-based 95 Percent Group, a provider of literacy solutions and instructional strategies for US K12 has announced a new executive team.

Laura Stewart, chief academic officer, is a science of reading and structured literacy advocate and expert who will be the company’s spokesperson and will continue to build a thought leadership position in the literacy market. Stewart has dedicated her career to improving literacy achievement at leading education companies including The Reading League, Highlights Education Group, and Rowland Reading Foundation.

Anella Wetter, chief sales officer, joins the company with decades of experience building and leading sales organisations at education companies including Carnegie Learning, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Kaplan K12 Learning Services. Wetter will focus on revenue growth by strengthening the company’s client relationships, developing new school partnerships, and expanding into new markets.

Laura Sullivan, chief marketing officer, has more than 25 years’ experience marketing education products and services at companies including Discovery Communications, The Princeton Review, and PresenceLearning. Sullivan will focus on building the company’s brand awareness and competitive thought leadership position and developing customer acquisition strategies to increase revenue and expandinto new markets.

George Gatsis, chief technology officer, has experience building technology and digital solutions for companies including Follett School Solutions, Pearson Data Solutions, and Follett Software Company. Gatsis will lead the company’s expansion of digital solutions.

Mehul Patel, chief financial officer, has joined the company from TCS Education System where he has been chief financial officer since 2015. Before that, he held management roles at Discover Financial Services, Enova Financial, and Deloitte Consulting. Patel will oversee all financial functions, and will lead the company’s growth and investment strategies.

Last year, 95 Percent Group secured a significant investment from Leeds Equity Partners.
