International and bilingual K12 school operator Bright Scholar Education Holdings has announced a net loss of ¥52.9 million (£6.5 million) for the six months of its 2022 fiscal year ending 28 February 2022. This compares to net income of ¥148.5 million reported for the first six months of its 2021 fiscal year.

The Foshan-based company reported revenue for the six-month period of ¥873.5 million, up 21.4% from ¥719.3 million reported for the first six months of fiscal 2021.
