Global publishing company John Wiley & Sons has reported net income of $148.31 million for its 2022 fiscal year ending 30 April 2022, fractionally up from $148.26 million reported for its 2021 fiscal year.

Revenue for the year was $2.08 billion, up from $1.94 billion reported for 2021.

The Hoboken, New Jersey-based company also reported results for the fourth quarter of its 2022 fiscal year. Net income for the period was $43.1 million, a slight improvement on the $41.3 million reported for the final quarter of fiscal year 2021. Revenue for the quarter was $545.7 million, compared to $536.3 million reported for Q4 2021.

John Wiley & Sons’ president and chief executive Brian Napack said: “Wiley delivered another solid year in fiscal 2022 as we materially accelerated organic growth, delivered on our financial targets, and surpassed $2 billion in revenue for the first time. Our consistent strategy to lead in open scientific research and career-connected education, our strong cash flow, and our dedication to operational excellence position us well for the future.”
