Oslo-headquartered Keystone Education Group has acquired German student-athlete placement agency Uniexperts.

With this acquisition, Keystone expects to further grow its Keystone Sports division, becoming the Europe’s strongest college sports recruiting solution for student-athletes looking to study in the US.

According to the company, Keystone Sports has helped over 9,240 students over the past 24 years to play sports and study in the US, generating around $582 million in scholarships for students placed during this period.

Last June, Keystone Academic Solutions merged with EMG – Educations Media Group to form the Keystone Education Group, with combined revenues of more than $50 million.

Keystone works with over 5 500 education institutions helping them reach, recruit, and enrol prospective students in more than 190 countries, across 460 student websites, including Masterstudies.com, Bachelorstudies.com, Educations.com, Studentum.se, and FindAMasters. The company also operates a range of other global student recruitment services, including Keystone Sports, UniQuest and Blueberry.nu.

Keystone’s chief executive Erik Harrell said: “Our mission with Keystone Sports is to help student athletes in Europe and around the world to find the best US university for them to pursue both their academic and athlete dreams. Adding Uniexperts will help us significantly expand our footprint and capabilities in Germany.”
