Stride: Joseph A Verbrugge

Herndon, Virginia-based Stride, an education company that sells online schooling and curricula for pre-K through to high school students, has appointed Joseph A Verbrugge to its board of directors, effective 5 August.

Verbrugge is chief commercial officer of Sirius XM Holdings, where he leads all commercial elements, except advertising sales, focused on growing subscribers and revenue for the SiriusXM, Pandora and Stitcher brands.

Earlier in his career, Verbrugge was a management consultant with The Dealy Strategy Group where he advised senior leaders of media, technology and services companies on strategy, operations and transactions. He sits the board of directors for Sirius XM Canada and is also on the board of advisors for Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
